My Manor Maps

Are you on the edge of a map?

We have been supplying framed Ordnance Survey maps since 2005. Choose from the Explorer® Series 1:25 000 or the Landranger® Series 1:50 000, then centre the map on your home or location of your choice. Based on your specifications, we produce a high quality framed, ready-to-hang map. Great for walkers, riders and cyclists and for planning that day out.

Our maps are framed to a very high standard, using conservation quality mounts, float glass and a conservation quality backing board. The inkjet prints are cold mounted onto board to ensure they remain stable and do not 'cockle' or 'wave' due to temperature and humidity changes, providing longevity of the finished product.

If your postcode centred map brings in unwanted features such as built up areas or an expanse of coastal water, we work with you and adjust the map until we reach the coverage that meets your needs.

Personalize the map with a title, sub-title and picture for a unique gift.

Maps with mounts range from 960mm x 960mm to 1040mm x 1040mm, dependent on your frame choice.

Maps without a mount and with the key, range from 1060cm high x 950mm wide to 1020mm x 1010mm. dependent on your frame choice.

If you are limited by space, we can trim the map to your specifications - please get in touch for details.

Map Styles

We offer three styles of frames -
With A Mount To Show Latitude & Longitude Data

The maps are framed with a mount which is cut to show the latitude and longitude data. These maps do not include the key.

This is our most popular style of framed map.

With A Mount - Close Framed

The maps are framed with a mount which is cut to just cover the edges of the map. These maps do not include the key.

This style of mounting allows the map to be reduced in overall size where space is limited.

These maps are framed without a mount and include the key. We can also frame them without the key leaving just the map.

The key can be personalised with titles and a photograph, make these a great present!

Ordering Your Framed Map

We offer two methods of purchasing your map, one which encompasses payment via Bank transfer or card via the telephone and Paypal. Both methods are actioned in the same way.

Cockling or Waving

The point of using dummy text for your paragraph is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters. making it look like readable English.

The Ordnance Survey titles input has a limited number of characters per line, which is quite restrictive. Where customers would like to have more, we print our own text with a black border and add this to the key section of the map. We can therefore adjust the size of the text to accommodate the text required. The titles are only available on maps without mounts and with the key.

The sample opposite should read 'CLAN' , this shows the current maximum character input for each line permitted on the Ordnance Survey site. There are 3 main titles -15 upper case only per line including spaces + 2 sub-titles which can be upper & lower case of approximately 38 characters inc. spaces.

If you would like a photograph on the key section of the map, we would require a 6" x 4" or 5" x 4" print to be sent to us. Please note, the height is not a problem, but we are restricted by the width of the key - approx. 4"/10cm and would need to trim accordingly.

Our aim is to provide a framed Ordnance Survey map that meets your expectations. In order to achieve this highly bespoke product, we work with you to produce the finished map.

We will ask you to complete the order form, detailing your specifications. Using the information, we will produce an order notification which includes an image to show the map coverage and details your bespoke options. If you are satisfied with the coverage based on your postcode or location, we proceed with the map. If you would like to alter the coverage due for example, to expanses of sea or urban areas encroaching onto your mapped area, we send through amendments until we reach the perfect coverage for your needs.
