Our Prices

We offer the framed Ordnance Survey maps and OS map frames, in several mouldings. The images are a good indication as to how the framed map will look, but due to the mouldings being a natural material, the colour and grain may differ from the pictures shown.

Please click on 'Frame Specification' to find out more about the materials we use.

We do not hold stock of the OS Map Frames, all our products are made to order. On the odd occasion, we may be unable to fulfil an order in a particular moulding due to supply issues, we will advise this as soon as possible and refund any payment.

Our Oak frames are very popular, please contact us if you would like to check the availability of a particular frame option.

Prices are shown for a 'Framed OS Map' - a finished map, ready to hang, and for the 'OS Map Frame Option' - supply only of frame, glass & backing board. Please note, the 'Map Frame Option', does not include a board for mounting the map.

It you would like us to frame your own map, please contact us for a quote.

Prices quoted are for glass, we offer Perspex as an alternative for an additional £45 per map.

The point of using dummy text for your paragraph is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters. making it look like readable English.

Frame Specifications

All our frames are hand made to order in our workshop using high quality materials. We use Conservation Quality mountboard and Artbak Conservation backing board, the board protects the map prints in our Map Frames, for DIY framing of your map. We use only wood mouldings for our work.

The maps can be supplied with either heavy duty strap hanger + cord, or mirror plates for permanent fixing to a wall. Frames hung with cord have felt bumpers included in the fixings pack, these allow airflow behind the frame, prevent marking on the wall and reduce movement.

Spring clips for easy frame opening , also keep pressure on backing board
Hangers - for pre-drilled holes + cord
Bumpers - for lower frame corners to allow air circulation, help prevent movement and marking of walls

Spring Clips allow for easy opening and closing on the Map Frames.

Framed Maps are sealed with gum tape to prevent insects and dirt getting into the frame.

The maps can be supplied with either heavy duty strap hanger + cord, or mirror plates for permanent fixing to a wall.

Natural Frames

Currently we only supply Oak in this section. Natural woods are lovely to look at when you get a beautifully grained piece of wood, but in reality the lengths can vary greatly in colour and grain. We use two 10ft lengths for the frames and try to match these variations as much as possible, a 10ft length can vary from end to end.

We hope to add other woods which we find to be consistent in their quality.

Oak Veneer Frame

Due to the poor quality of the solid oak we have received over the past couple of years, we have switched to an oak veneered moulding.
